80-20

When Joni Eareckson told me that she learned to pray 80/20 I thought it's the world upside down. 20% of my prayer is about the problem, she said, and the other 80% is about asking God what He wants to teach me, what He'd like me to do, to align with His plan for me. Most of the time my whole prayer was about the problem, i could go on and on about it. But when I started practising this 80/20, I stepped in a different territory. My focus was less on the problem and more on God. And the overwhelm moved over for the peace.
